I'm just going to come right out and say it: I am one lucky gal. I have two of the best horn players out there as my lesson teachers! Adam Unsworth and Bryan Kennedy have taught me more than I'll ever fully be able to comprehend about Mendelssohn 3 and about life. Around the time I applied to the business school, I had really honest conversations with both of them about how I didn't think that being a performer was really in the cards for me. Although I basically told them that I didn't think I could make it in their career paths, they were both incredibly happy for me and supportive of my new path!
